ALL of the “babies” are lovingly raised in our home.  The puppies have their own birthing/play room in our house that is used just for their nursery.  We raise them as part of our family and encourage human contact from day one.  Depending on the time of the year (since we live in the northeast with record snow falls), I either paper train or get the puppies used to going outside by 6 weeks of age so they are at least somewhat potty trained before they leave.  All the puppies are vet checked at least once before going home and come to you with a vet sheet from their first visit. The puppies will have at least their first round of shots and will be wormed.  Adult weight, hernia’s, ability to breed (if applicable) and bites are not guaranteed.  I send my puppies off with a small “care package” and information on how to care for your new puppy and their shot record.  We also send a stuffed toy or a small piece from the blanket that has both the mother’s and litter’s scent on it to help with their separation. Puppies do not leave our house until they are at least 10 wks old and if they need to be shipped the puppy may be held longer.  The shipment method depends on the time of year and where you live, as many airlines will not ship animals in extreme weather conditions (heat or cold) so please contact me so we can discuss shipment methods.

AGREEMENT TO SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PUPPIES

Unless stated otherwise, puppies are sold on a spayed/neuter contract. In order to help protect this wonderful breed from “disreputable breeders” who would weaken the breed we sell most of our pups as “pet only” with limited AKC registration. New owners are asked to have their puppies spayed or neutered by the age of 4 to 7 months.
